Reich was then unanimously endorsed by voice vote at the request of his two nearest competitors, Doron Clark and Jose Velez.

Susan Howitz Hanna, who won only 9 votes in the first ballot and was dropped from the contest with 3% support, announced during the question and answer period that she will be on the ballot in November regardless.
